Sattler & Dwyre, PLLC is a San Antonio law firm with the team of Andrew E. Sattler and John Dwyre. Andy and John are not your typical lawyers in that they each bring a wealth of real-world experience to the practice of law through their interesting backgrounds that are unlike most other lawyers. Before becoming a lawyer, Andy was a research chemist at a world-class San Antonio research institute. John was a United States Air Force officer and pilot who served in the Vietnam war and later was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas.
Having backgrounds that are atypical for lawyers gives both Andy and John unique perspectives on the law and an innate ability to think outside of the normal legal box. Their combined 50 years of legal experience gives them the ability, wisdom, and insight to handle many types of legal issues with an emphasis on civil litigation and consumer issues.
Both John and Andy are regular lecturers on consumer issues for continuing legal education courses and both have been heavily involved with the Consumer & Commercial Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. Andy currently serves on the Consumer & Commercial Law Section council, is a current officer, and was a past chairperson. John served on the council for many years and was also a past chairperson. John is Board Certified in Commercial and Consumer Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is also Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
